Scotland, PA is a humorous contemporary take of the Shakespeare play "Macbeth". The film stars Maura Tierney and James LeGros as a couple working in a diner during the 1970s in a small town in Pennsylania. Tired of their nowhere jobs in the fast food business, they conspire to take over the diner in hopes of attaining their American dream. Also appearing in the movie are Christopher Walken, Kevin Corrigan, Amy Smart, and Andy Dick.
The film is scheduled to screen and compete at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival.
