First trailer for Hanna

Focus Features has released the first trailer for the thriller Hanna [HANA1] starring Saoirse Ronan [SRONA] as a teenage assassin.  A teenage girl assassin is believable when protrayed realistically by Natalie Portman in The Professional or as comic fantasy by Hit-girl in Kick-Ass.  But when you try to combine the two, the resulting action borders on unintentional comedy as seen in this trailer.  Eric Bana [EBANA] and Cate Blanchett [CBLAN] co-star in the film directed by Joe Wright [JOWRI].

I agree, lemmeguess. I didn't know what to expect of the trailer based on the synopsis as written on HSX and I wondered why a stellar actress like Blanchett would attach herself to a narrative that floated between noir and comedy. "Hanna" has that made-in
