Warner Bros. has released the theatrical trailer for Green Lantern [GLANT] and the full scope of the superhero movie is finally revealed. The comical tone of the first teaser has been replaced by the serious melodramatics of a space opera. Ryan Reynolds [RREYN] stars as Hal Jordan, chosen to be the first human Green Lantern in order to battle an intergalactic threat against Earth. The trailer expands on the story and gives us a glimpse the main cast including Blake Lively [BLIVE] , Peter Sarsgaard [PSARS], Mark Strong [MSTRO], Tim Robbins [TROBB], Angela Bassett [ABASS] as well as the voices of Geoffrey Rush [GRUSH] and Michael Clarke Duncan [MCDUN]. Are audiences ready to embrace a superhero movie that's heavily science fiction with more alien creatures than Star Trek?
