Blurred Lines is fun and good, but Remix (I Like The) by New Kids On The Block has been the song of my summer.
There really hasn't been too much released that was good this summer... I am having to dive into album tracks looking for new stuff. The following is a list of interesting songs that I have come across lately:
Joe Satriani - A Celebration (link)
The Piano Guys - Rockebell's Cannon (link)
Paul Anka and Tom Jones - She's A Lady (link)
LL Cool J ft Chuck D - Whaddup (link)
Rod Stewart - Sexual Religion (link)
Bon Jovi - Because We Can (link)
Willie Nelson - Let's Face The Music And Dance (link)
Winner for most "interesting":
Bret Michaels ft Ace Freely, Michael Anthony and Lil Jon - Nothin' But A Good Time
(no video available)(link to music stream)
Bret Michaels sings lead with Ace Freely (KISS) singing upper harmony vocals; Michael Anthony (former bass player for Van Halen) does the spoken interlude bridge; (Rapper and Celebrity Apprentice contestant) Lil Jon does hype chanting over the choruses and The Shields Brothers (The Voice contestants) play the wicked guitar solo.
