Continuing its box office dominance for a third straight weekend, Jurassic World [JURA4] admitted an estimated $54.2 million to stay ahead of the competition. The dino sequel surpassed $500 million in record time.
Inside Out [NMIND] held the second spot with $52.1 million, down 42% from its debut. The Pixar film has earned $184.9 million.

After debuting in second for the first time in Pixar history, Inside Out [NMIND] has a chance to ascend to the top in its sophomore session. The last original Pixar film Brave dropped 48% in its second weekend, but it’s not as universally praised as Inside Out. A better comparison would be the beloved Up from 2009, which declined 35%. A similar decay would put Inside Out at about $58 million.

Universal has dropped the domestic trailer for the gangster drama Legend [LEGEN]. Tom Hardy [THARD] stars in the dual roles of Ronald and Reggie Kray, real-life identical twins who ran the East End of London during the 1960s. One was the brain behind the organized crime, while the other the brawn of the outfit. Legend opens in theaters October 2th.

Relativity has released the full-length trailer for the heist comedy Masterminds [LOMIS] inspired by the 1997 robbery of Loomis Fargo in North Carolina. Zach Galifianakis [ZGALI] stars as David Ghantt, an armored truck driver who has a crush on a co-worker, played by Kristen Wiig [KWIIG]. She successfully enlists him in a scheme to steal a truckload of money, more than $17 million. Fox has unveiled the second, full-length trailer for the action reboot Hitman: Agent 47 [HITM2] based on the hit videogame franchise. Rupert Friend [RFRIE] stars as a genetically engineered assassin who finds a woman with similar enhanced abilities as his own. Together, they uncover their secret origins and fight back against the corporation that created them. Hitman: Agent 47 sets its sight on August 21st.

After setting a new opening weekend record, Jurassic World [JURA4] returns with an estimated $102.0 million, the second best second weekend behind The Avengers' $103.0 million. Paramount has released the trailer for the comedy Daddy's Home [DHOME], which reunites The Other Guys. Will Ferrell [WFERR] plays a stepfather who marries into a loving family, but then has to compete for the affection of his stepson and stepdaughter with their biological father, played by Mark Wahlberg [MWAHL].
