The Weinstein Co. has released the official trailer for the historical drama W.E. [WE] directed by Madonna [MADON]. Playing like a spin-off to last year's The King's Speech, W.E. focuses on the the romance between the twice-divorced American socialite Wallis Simpson and King Edward VIII of England, who abdicated the throne in 1936 to his brother Albert, who became King George VI. Abbie Cornish [ACORN] plays a modern New York woman who tries to learn if Wallis, played by Andrea Risenborough [ARISE], managed to lived her fairy tale romance happily ever after. W.E. opens in limited release on Feburary 3rd.
