New trailer for The Lone Ranger



Walt Disney has unleashed the full, theatrical trailer for the reimagined western The Lone Ranger [LONER] on Apple.  While the teaser set up the historical background of the American West, the new trailer introduces the the origin of the masked hero as the Texas Ranger played by Armie Hammer [AHAMM] meets Native American spirit warrior Tonto, played by Johnny Depp [JDEPP], for the first time.  Director Gore Verbinski [GVERB] looks to bring massive action set pieces to the stale western genre the same way he did with pirate films on Pirates of the Caribbean.
