First trailer for The Wolverine

After two days of teasing, Fox has debuted two trailers for The X-Men Origins spin-off sequel/prequel The Wolverine [WOLV2].   Hugh Jackman [HJACK] reprises his role as the indestructible Logan who saves the life of a Japanese soldier from the atomic blast during World War II.   The man rises to be the head of a Yakuza clan and Logan gets caught up in the gang warfare of modern Japan.  The female Viper is played by Svetlana Khodchenkova.  The Wolverine unfurls on July 26th.
 

Out of his depth in an unknown world, he will face a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality.

Wow this movie looks like it is full of lack luster plot and people who speak english very well. Let me guess the plot the old man Wolverine saved is going to steal his healing factor for himself. PS the whole taken powers away was that not the plot for

I assumed the same theoreal2001, but I think it looks solid. Stealing powers may not be per-say "original," but taking Wolverine's immortality is more about how that effects HIM as a character: something we definitely have yet to see on film. The action

(cont.) looks like a real berserker Wolverine, fighting villains incredibly formidable, and that train sequence looks to surpass "Spider-Man 2." Also, looks like Hugh really went there this time.
