Columbia has officially announced the principal cast for The Social Network [SOCIL] about the founding of the internet company Facebook. As first reported by ScriptShadow's Carson Reeves on his Facebook page (naturally), Jesse Eisenberg [JEISE] will play Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Justin Timberlake [JTIMB] will play web entreprenuer Sean Parker who became the president, while Andrew Garfield will play co-founder Eduardo Saverin who eventually had a falling out.
David Fincher [DFINC] will direct from a screenplay Aaron Sorkin adapted from the book The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, a Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal by Ben Mezrich. What special effects will Fincher utilize to convey the aggravating decision process involved and the reprecussions of whether or not to accept that Friend Request or when to update that Relationship Status and make it Facebook official to the world?
