First trailer for Legend of the Guardians

Based on the children's book series "Guardians of Ga'Hoole", Legend of the Guardians [GHOOL] is a new CG animated film  from the same studio that produced Happy Feet.  The fantasy adventure featuring talking owls is described as a cross between "Watership Down" and "The Lord of the Rings".   Best known for his bloody R-rated affairs, Zach Snyder [ZSNYD] tones down his stylized violence to direct his first animated film that's also suitable for the whole audience.  While owls are not as popular as penguins (not all birds are born wearing cute little tuxedo suits), the ban stormers do have an ace up their feathered sleeves.   Legend of the Guardians will be in 3D when the film opens on September 24, 2010.
