Description

Jennifer Connelly, Paul Bettany, and Evan Rachel Wood star in American Pastoral. Adapted from the novel by Philip Roth, the story details the life of Seymour The Swede Levov, a high school star athlete who goes on to marry the town beauty and live an idyllic baby boomer life. His life is shattered when his rebellious daughter carries out an act of violence in protest of the Vietnam War. American Pastoral examines a man who is slowly exposed to the harsh realities of life. Phillip Noyce will direct from John Romano's adaptation.
