Chris O'Donnell received his first break at age 17, with a starring role as Jessica Lange's oldest son in the 1989 film, Men Don't Leave. For O'Donnell, the role would lead to a string of films that would make him one of Hollywood's most successful young actors of the early 1990's. Movies such as Scent of a Woman and School Ties culminated with role in the 1995 superhero drama Batman Forever. Although O'Donnell appeared in a few flops before he reprised his role as The Boy Wonder in 1997's Batman & Robin, he upped his stock with a role in the 1999 Robert Altman ensemble piece, Cookie's Fortune.
