Description
Set in 1937 Nanking, the Chinese film City of Life and Death examines figures, real and fictional, caught up during the frightful period when thousands of Chinese were massacred by the Japanese during the Rape of Nanking. Lu Chuan directed the film starring Ye Liu, Hideo Nakaizumi and Lan Qin.
