Description
The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay tells the tale of two boys who write comic books during the Golden Age of comic books in the 1940s. The two cousins invent a superhero named the Escapist who wages battle against a series of villains. Author Michael Chabon employs fact and fiction to make the story larger than life as his characters meet real life people such as Salvador Dali, Stan Lee, Orsen Wells, and Harry Houdini. Chabon's other novel Wonder Boys was turned into a film starring Michael Douglas. Scott Rudin is producing the film with Paramount.
