Description

The children’s story Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH will get the remake treatment. The title character is a mouse that must clear out her family including a sick child from a farmer’s field before it is plowed. She enlists the help of rats in the area who used to be in labs. Her intelligent and efficient new friends are helpful. She in turn heals them from their traumatic experiments. Neil Burger (The Illusionist) will adapt and direct for Paramount.
