Description

Based on the critically acclaimed novel from Mary Doria Russell, The Sparrow follows a Jesuit priest who leads an expedition into space to make contact with a recently discovered Extraterrestrial life. He returns 60 years later alone, without faith, and badly disfigured. What happened to the priest and his expedition? George Miller may direct from a script by Michael Seitzman.
