Description
James Cameron helms a biographical picture on the life of freediver Francisco "Pipin" Ferreras. At the core is a passionate romance between Ferreras and his fellow diver wife Audrey Mestre, who died while attempting to break his record descent of 162m. The film will be based on an autobiography by Ferreras and an article in Sports Illustrated. In October 2003, Cameron filmed Ferreras' record-breaking dive of 170m at Cabo San Lucas.
