The Red Riding Trilogy is based on cult novels that details fictionalized crimes by the real-life murderer Yorkshire Ripper who terrorized England during the 1970s and 1980s. Paddy Considine starred in the 1980 film directed by James Marsh. Tony Grisoni scripted the film produced by Michael Winterbottom.
