Description
Written and directed by Michael Haneke, The White Ribbon takes place in a rural German town in 1913. The film details the hidden acts and hysteria that engulfs the town prior to the start of the first World War. The White Ribbon won the Palme d'Or at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.
