With all the new release underperforming at the weekend box office, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles [TMNT1] retained first place with an estimated $28.4 million. The film dropped 57% in its second weekend to bring its total to $117.6 million.
Let's Be Cops [LBCOP] opened in third place with $17.7 million, and $26.1 million since opening on Wednesday.
The Expendables [XPND3] crashed at the fourth spot with $16.2 million .
The Giver [GIVER] took in just $12.8 million to debut fifth overall.
