An extended trailer for the ambitious, sci-fi drama Cloud Atlas [CLATL] based on the David Mitchell novel has premiered online. Directed by Tom Tykwer [TTYKW] and the Wachowskis [WACHO], the time-spanning film follows six stories at various points in history from a ship in the South Pacific of the 1850s to a post-apocalyptic, distant future. Tom Hanks [THANK] and Halle Berry [HBERR] lead the cast in playing multiple roles across time. The interconnected tales explore how individual actions can impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. Cloud Atlas opens in the U.S. on October 26th.
