Summit has unsheathed the first trailer for the 3D update of The Three Musketeers [3MSKT] on Apple. Looks like director Paul Anderson [PANDE] has been playing "Assassin's Creed II", the hooded figure emerging-to-kill, parrying-overwhelming-forces, fencing-on-rooftops, and leaping-from-structures videogame set in Renaissance Venice. If there's one thing Anderson does well, it is co-opting the stylish visuals of others.
The hot-headed young D'Artagnan (Logan Lerman [LLERM]) joins forces with three rogue Musketeers (Matthew MacFadyen [MMACF], Luke Evans [LEVAN] and Ray Stevenson [RSTEV]) in this reboot of Alexandre Dumas' story. They must stop the evil Richlieu (Christoph Waltz [CWALT]) and face off with Buckingham (Orlando Bloom [OBLOO]) and the treacherous Milady (Milla Jovovich [MJOVO]).

AMac Monday, March 28 at 11:12 AM Pacific Someone please tell me why this movie is in 3D? Dear Hollywood, 90% of movies DO NOT need be made in 3D. In fact, we don't want it, won't pay for it, and are turned off by it!!!!!!!!! |
