Why do moviestocks wait until Sat 6pm to halt? Derivatives halt on ...

Friday at 10am, but why the difference? And then this from the FAQ:

Typically, a MovieStock is halted on its wide release date and price adjusted on the Sunday of its opening weekend.

Just curious why the difference, and I can't seem to find an explanation anywhere.

Movie stocks used to halt on opening day and then adjust on Sunday but it was recently changed. DTravel May 18, 13:47
