chuckage
I placed a trade and the price I bought it for was different from the one on the confirmation screen. What gives?
The Exchange is in constant motion, and sometiems prices move up or down in the time between the submitted trade and the point it is executed. Sometimes this it to your benefit, other times, not - but it is usually only a few cents in any case. Veteran traders often refer to this as "slippage" or "chuckage."

ok im watching the ticker, see a 1 cent movie go across and buy the max...and all of a sudden iv just paid 3 cents for a penny movie. wtf? on Aug 02, 12:01

Although not spelled out clearly in the HSX Rules, minimum Commission is $.02 on everything under $2.00. on Aug 02, 12:23
