As a newer player, with a small port, I do not reccommend long term StarBond holds....
At 30M, you should have no more than 10-15M in Bonds, and try to concentrate on MovieStocks which can have larger returns in a short period of time.
I am about to launch BONDS 21 with only 20M. I will NOT repeat NOT be looking at long term investments. I want fast action to build up the port.
If I sort the chart by dROI, 22 of the top 24 investments will adjust in the next 2 weeks. THAT is where I would recommend that you concentrate. Use Elchan's chart at How Profitable. Look at dROI of at least 1.50% Cherry pick the big changes.
It sounds great to say "I bought DRADC when it was 5 and held it 3 months and it was 83" but those are rare. If you have to wait 6 months to make 40 points, the same money could build up the portfolio 5-10 points at a time over and over again in the interim. You could always revisit that long term investment and make almost the same money. Why? Because smaller investors have learned that they cannot afford to hold that long and get in on the action later in the game.
Now a word about the Post Adjust Bond Show. It is a great tool. It sounds so great :"Their next adjust will go up (or down) 40 points" But you have to look at the date of the adjust. If it is way in the future, dROI could be very small. Or their are changes to the order of adjust. Stuff happens.

Not everyone starts with a portfolio that was bought on Ebay on Aug 10, 09:47
