Crunching some numbers for HPOT8 - H$300+ halts and how they did
I realized that we're in rarefied air with HPOT8 sure to halt above H$300. How have other movies that halted above H$300 done at adjust? (Note, my data only goes back 5 years, so I might be missing some older movies.) Ticker Release Halt Adjust Change PIRT3 5/25/2007 398.79 354.86 -11% IRNM2 5/7/2010 394.69 360.72 -9% SPID3 5/4/2007 372.00 414.40 11% TFRM2 6/24/2009 337.43 391.65 16% BATM2 7/18/2008 333.37 434.95 30% PIRT2 7/7/2006 328.73 369.68 12% HPOT7 11/19/2010 324.30 337.82 4% SHRK3 5/18/2007 304.52 342.51 12% Interesting to note that the 2 highest "halts" failed to deliver. And the last HPOT movie had a "small" positive adjust (which I think was before the new Saturday halt). But the others were all clear winners. Hopefully someone finds this helpful and/or informative. I'm not sure that I do....
