Earlier this month and four days after vandals set loose 40,000 juvenile Chinook salmon, breaking the hearts of the high school students who raised them, the executive director of the Tiburon Salmon Institute was shocked when he discovered that net lines again had been cut overnight, releasing the remaining 20,000 fish into San Francisco Bay.
To help TSI buy security cameras and expand their educational program, the filmmakers of The River Why will be presenting a benefit screening of the film at the Lark Theater, 549 Magnolia Ave in historic downtown Larkspur, on October 27 at 7:30 pm.
