I'm not saying that a movie that's PG-13 or PG or G can't be great by any means. I'm speaking about this specific movie. The first one was R
and it made full use of that, which was definitely appropriate for the time of movie. This one will no doubt be watered down by aiming for a rating that the movie shouldn't really have. It's like the Die Hard movies. When it came out that the 4th Die Hard movie was going to be PG-13, that was definitely a red flag and it proved to be a watered down version of Die Hard. A movie like Indiana Jones, on the other hand, is perfectly appropriate at PG-13.
