I post one column, one prediction on Tuesday/Wednesday each week. That prediction is based on the facts and information that I have at that given time. I might update by Friday if those facts change whether it's theater counts, reviews, etc, but that's very rare. What I post on here in the weeks before are mere discussion and my opinion and commentary based on what is posted here and the information I have AT THAT TIME.
In the case of Hunger Games, I posted a Long Distance Box Office piece in DECEMBER where I said it might make $50 to 60 million opening weekend... so are you going to hold me to that number now? BoxOffice said in the 70s a few weeks back and then they upped it to 90s and then to 115s... who knows what their prediction will be on Wednesday? Are you going to call them out for that, too?
