I have noticed certain patterns and developed my own tools :)
e.g. when MTC is way lower than RS, 80% of times the actual is even lower; same applies for the other way too (when MTC is statistically significant higher, go even higher, like The Stepfather and LAC last weekend).
Of course I use other numbers as well (polls, tweet data, etc.) to design my model, and as for if the results are any good, I'd let the accuracy of my predictions (at BOM and elsewhere) speak for itself.
