now look at same numbers for Maleficent:

It's got 3000 more, is a family film and comes out two weeks later, yet he has the domestic at 80M less than Godzilla.
not saying these numbers translate in to direct box office, but I really think with Jolie starring this film does well and like I said, if reviews are good that'll only help.
