I spend a portion of my available HSX time helping other players (teaching, training, answering questions) and I am interested in how players at all levels are doing... and what they are doing.
The game and the industry are constantly changing and in order to help players and give them the right information I have to constantly put out feelers and keep up to date myself.
I am interested in your case personally because you are close to my total port value and I am curious how you got hit so hard. There are some other well known succesfull players in your port range who also took a big hit this week. The players on my watchlist are 90% in the red with most of them taking a complete loss (no profit) for the entire week.
It is totally doable. A large port holds more stocks and just 350 stocks going down $1 each = down 35mill.
I was just honestly interested in what strategies you were using and how they worked against MEGA IPO Day. I honestly do not make fun of any player's misfortune (within reason*) because being successful at playing HSX is alwasy a random mix of time invested, skill, talent, knowledge, luck, being at the right time at the right place, strategy, precision and dedication.
A player with the top strategy and skill could just be away from their computer at the wrong time and take a hit, while a player with horrible stategy and poor skills could be at their computer at the right time and make a killing.
* While RazorHawk is interested in all HSX Players succeeding, he does reserve the right to chuckle at players making mistakes and/or not prospering, especially the players who have been offered his help and his advice and have refused it or turned it down. The more rude they were about it, the more he reserves the right to chuckle.
