Nolan's legacy: Batman needs alot more time before trying to tackle these characters again. Let it sit for awhile.

The Dark Knight films were so well done, this story and these characters should remain on the shelf for a very long time before trying to come up with a different take. Otherwise, any new movie will feel anticlimactic. It's not going to work. 

But of course they will jump right back on that train. Of course they will. 

I'm sure Spiderman 14 will be here any day, with the 7th reboot in 5 years or some such nonsense.
