Not really. The movie biz for Disney is relatively small compared to the overall business.
For the first quarter, Disney did 15 billion in total sales. This is movies, parks, TV, etc. Rough guesstimate of the movie business in Q1 for Disney: 2.5 billion in sales. Granted, at this level, the movie business is quite profitable. Probably not as profitable as TV, but still very good. Net profits were 2.9 billion, and movies made up maybe 6-700 million? Just a guess. So, movies are 16% o sales and 20% of profits. These are rough estimates, mind you, as they don't break them out in their SEC filings. Or, I'm too lazy to find them.
Basically, movies don't really move the needle much on DIS stock.
