A few things...
We didn't have a big enough sample size (we were under 100 responses, last I checked).
And we also self-selected in responding - if we got every user here to answer, we'd have a more representative sample of HSX players...but skew is always seen in polls where people self-select (we just talked about that yesterday for Hillary ratings:), since the self-selectors feel stronger about things...
And I'm betting that we skewed more male than female in respondants and more old (over 35) than young (under 35)...it means we don't represent the population as a whole...and we probably didn't represent the HSX player as a whole (that I'm guessing, but I think we have more of each as a % than answered that poll)...
Nothing wrong with how we did it b/c it's the only way we could do it easily...just means we will have some skew in our list...
And skew doesn't make things "wrong" - it just means you have to have less reliance on the data...
