Can somebody please educate me on why critics (i.e. Entertainment Weekly) have it in for "The Newsroom" and/or Aaron Sorkin? {nm} on Aug 11, 19:38
havent seen newsroom yet, but i think sorkin gets criticized for how one-sided he is politically (very liberal) {nm} on Aug 12, 05:46
That's what I've picked up. Plus, the show is a homage to a widely distrusted and dying trade. on Aug 12, 08:10
I think it's also his personality and quirks. He often comes across as know-it-all, smug, adversarial, anti-Internet, kind of sexist, etc on Aug 12, 09:10
I see, as I have never seen a single episode of West Wing; I thought the dialouge and pace were pretty cool. Same w/ the factoids on Aug 12, 10:16
Actually ever since Sports Night which came 1st and was better than the other 2 (at least the season - some of the best tv ever!) {nm} on Aug 12, 16:17
