so congrats to your Cubbies beating the $%^& out of my Reds last night islander.
At the game and looking at this (what appeared to be a) couple in the front row, directly in front of us. She was a very pretty girl, 20-23 and was with a guy in good shape but easily in his 50s. I just kept wondering how and why?
Later we start talking to them (nonstop). The guy was a great dude and it was his daughter (who was also nice...just back home from Duke). I had planned this trip a couple months in advance, embarassed to say what I paid for our seats and come to find out she was treating her father for his birthday. She bragged she had bought them the day before off StubHub for $5 per ticket.
I felt like screaming after the day I had (and even worse for the night the Reds were having). :)
Oh well, great times. I can't complain getting to two Colts and a Reds game in the same week.
