The Holiday Warrants give each trader an opportunity to invest in the long term financial success of the biggest and best offerings each studio has to offer for the 2000 Holiday Season. Each Holiday Warrant functions the same as a call option would. The strike price is the estimated total domestic box office take by President's Weekend, February 20th, 2001.
If the particular film makes the strike price by February 19th, the Warrant will cash out at the difference between the Actual Box Office and the strike price. If the film does not make at least the strike price then the Warrant will cash out at zero.
102 Dalmatians has a H$100 strike price. If 102 Dalmatians makes $125 million domestically then the 102 Dalmatians Warrant will cash out at H$25 per share. (Box Office - Strike Price [$125-$100]). If 102 Dalmatians makes less than $100 million then the Warrant will cash out at H$0.
The Warrants will halt trading on February 16th and will cash out on February 20th, 2001.
