Description
Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony star in the musical biopic El Cantante. Anthony plays Hector Lavoe, one of the most successsful Salsa singers of the 1970s and one who helped launch the movement. Due to personal problems including a nasty heroin habit, Lavoe died penniless from AIDS. Lopez plays his wife Puchi. The film is written and directed by Leon Ichaso.
