Amy Brenneman portrays Amy Gray in the dramatic series Judging Amy. The show's premise is based on the real-life story of Brenneman's mother.
Brenneman once was a cast member on the police drama NYPD Blue and has worked on several feature films, including Your Friends And Neighbors, Heat, and Nevada. She also finds time to appear in films produced by the Cornerstone Theater Company, a company she co-founded.
