Description

The drama The Gospel stars Nona Gaye, Boris Kodjoe, Idris Elba, Keisha Knight Pulliam and American Idol contestant Tamyra Gray. Kodjoe plays a hot R&B singer who is estranged from his southern Christian family. When his father, a respected Bishop, falls sick and is near death, the singer must go back home to deal with unfinished issues. His childhood nemesis, married to his cousin (Gaye), is poised to take over the church. The picture is written and directed by Rob Hardy.
