The Holiday Blockbuster Warrants give each trader an opportunity to invest in the long term financial success of the biggest and best offerings each studio has to offer. Each Holiday Blockbuster Warrant functions the same as a call option would. The strike price is the estimated total domestic box office take by February 15th, 2000.
If the particular film makes the strike price by February 15th the Warrant will cash out at the difference between the Actual Box Office and the strike price. If the film does not make at least the strike price then the Warrant will cash out at zero.
For Example, Toy Story 2 has a H$150 strike price. If Toy Story 2 makes $175 million domestically then the Toy Story 2 Warrant will cash out at H$25 per share. (Box Office - Strike Price [$175-$150]). If Toy Story 2 makes less than $150 million then the arrant will cash out at H$0.00.
The Warrants will halt trading the Feburary 12th and will cash out on February 15th, 2000.
