Description
Jim Broadbent is one of the most versatile British actors working today. Broadbent received his theatrical training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, graduating from there in 1972. He went on to do stagework for the Royal National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. In addition, Broadbent wrote and starred in the award-winning short film A Sense of History, directed by Mike Leigh. Broadbent's feature film credits include The Crying Game and Bullets Over Broadway. It is, however, in Leigh's Topsy-Turvy that Broadbent has gained the most acclaim.
