Description

Veteran actor James Garner began his career with a brief stint on Broadway before signing on as a contact player for Warner Bros. in 1956. He starred in the T.V. series The Maverick and appeared in successful films like The Great Escape and The Thrill of it All. In the '80s, He received an Oscar nomination for Murphy's Romance. Recently, Garner starred in The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood and The Notebook.
