In 1995, DNA Productions created an animated short film that was produced entirely in CGI. The short received critical acclaim and won quite a few awards. Jimmy Neutron is now a full-length, animated CGI feature produced by Nickelodeon Filmswith Paramount.
Jimmy Neutron is a boy genius who goes on many adventures with his robotic dog. He journeys off on space missions, encounters aliens and travels from one exciting experience to another. Despite having an amazing level of intelligence, Jimmy must still deal with the everyday struggles faced by all young children.
John A. Davis has directed many animated shorts and will begin his first, full-length project with Jimmy Neutron. Davis, who wrote and directed the original short, will also write the script for the new version.
