Description

Eva Mendes will take the lead in the adaptation of the novel Queen of the South. Written by one of Spain�s best known writers, the film tells the story of a Mexican woman who flees to Spain after her drug smuggler boyfriend gets murdered. Once there, she becomes pivotal in the drug trade between Spain and Morocco. Jonathan Jakubowicz adapts the story and directs the film.
