Description

Moonstruck meets the fireworks industry. This romantic comedy, written and directed by George Zaloom, features Stanley Tucci as an Italian immigrant from Naples who treks to Long Island to work in his family's fireworks factory. The farcical underpinning of the plot is provided by the fact he falls for the widow of his American cousin, played by Bridget Fonda, who finds herself in her bereaved state only because her husband was improbably killed in a fireworks accident.
