Freddie Prinze, Jr. stars in this drama about the clash of social classes. Prinze, Jr. plays a poor local Cape Cod kid pitching in the Cape Cod League, an invitation only league for the crem de la crem of college players with professional baseball aspirations. Jessica Biel plays a young woman whose wealthy family summers on the Cape. Biel and Prinze fall in love and must face the differences in their social class. Matthew Lillard play his teammate and friend while Corey Pearson plays a rival pitcher. Mike Tollin co-produces with Brian Robbins and makes his directorial debut on the film.
