Everyone who goes to college at times revel in the simple pleasures of student life and not having to take responsibility. In the comedy Van Wilder, one illustrious young man is in the midst of contriving ways to stay in that blissful life for as long as he can. The third year college senior scrambles to stay in school and not have to work in the real world after he learns that his father will no longer pay for his continuing college education. This forces the young man to support himself in whatever way he can find. Ryan Reynolds of TV's Two Guys and a Girl plays the lead.
