Description

Christopher McQuarrie, who won an Oscar for his Usual Suspects screenplay in 1996, makes his directorial debut with The Way of the Gun.

The film centers on two desperate kidnappers, played by Benicio Del Toro and Ryan Phillippe, who kidnap a pregnant surrogate mother, played by Juliette Lewis.

The wealthy parents of the unborn child send the ransom money via an aging mercenary, which creates problems for the kidnappers.

James Caan and Taye Diggs also have roles in the film.
